    Sesquicentennial License Plate

Support Battlefield Preservation in Tennessee by ordering the Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial (150th anniversary) License Plate. 

The Civil War Sesquicentennial license plate sponsored by the Tennessee Civil War Preservation Association has been designated by the Tennessee Legislature as the Official Civil War Sesquicentennial license plate.

SIGN UP ONLINE TODAY FOR YOUR PLATE at www.tcwpa.org.  When we reach 1,000 signups, TCWPA will send you instructions on how to actually order the plate which will add $35 per year to the cost of your tag. The new plate will go into production at that time.

TCWPA recently updated the license plate design to include the new Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial Logo on the left side. TCWPA has pledged its proceeds ($15.62 per plate) to both battlefield preservation and the Civil War Trails program. Proceeds for the Civil War Trails signs will go directly back to the community of the person who bought the plate to help purchase Civil War Trails signs for that community.

When people see the new plate and Civil War Trails markers, and learn about Tennessee’s rich Civil War heritage, they’re more likely to support our preservation mission and sign up for their Civil War Sesquicentennial license plate as well. Your Civil War Sesquicentennial plate will demonstrate to all that you understand the importance of the sesquicentennial years. Sign up today to display the plate on all of your vehicles.
